Rare stainless steel banded bowl by Jens Quistgaard - an early example of the staved teak bowl, probably dating from the early to mid 1950s. This bowl possibly represents an early transitional piece as Quistgaard and Nissen were forming Dansk. The mark is similar to the earliest Dansk mark, but the "Dansk" is missing.

~11" across, 6" tall. Good vintage condition, sturdy with no major damage, no stave splits, selling as-found. The stainless steel band is continuous (no seam) and sits in a groove in the bowl.
