67.00USD

Reserved for Daphne

Arabia began producing ceramics in 1874 in Helsinki, Finland. They were the largest European producer of porcelain by the 1930s. Then in the 1940s Arabia hired designers Raija Uosikkinen, Esteri Tomula, and Kaj Franck. A large variety of goods featuring these artists were produced over the years.

Our little pitcher features a simply designed yellow kitty cat with a black bow on its tail. It's an absolutely wonderful little pattern and is perfect for any collector. The stamp on the bottom of our piece dates it between 1964-1971. There's also a "K - L- O" depression as shown in upper right of the fourth photo.

This piece is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, or staining. It measures 4.25 inches tall, 3 3/8 inches across the top, and 4 1/8 inches in diameter around the widest part of the body. From the spout to back of handle is about 6.25 inches.

Mid Century Georges Briard Illustrated Enamel Plate by MidModMomStore

27.00USD

Georges Briard -a pseudonym used by the Ukrainian born designer Jascha Broido- was a prolific artist and designer that left us a great inventory of varied pieces to enjoy anew. His work is different every time, he approached every project as a new opportunity to create, so his style is difficult to define.

This particular illustration is one of my favorites, the simplicity of the line work reminds me a little of Kaj Franck's mushroom Finel bowl. Lovely addition to a mid century enamel collection.

Plate is in great vintage condition with just a few fleabites to the enamel on the rim. Black enamel to the back is in good condition with slight shelf wear. Signed, Georges Briard on the front of the plate. Measures 10 1/4" in diameter, 1" tall to the rim.

I have a unique rare set of Tackett for Schmid oil and vinegar bottles dated 1959
They are in excellent vintage condition but please look at all the pictures carefully as they are part of the description and show the bottles exactly the way they are
They are both missing their corks and the "oil" transfer is slightly worn as seen in picture 3
The bottles themselves have no chips, breaks, cracks or crazing but could have some color variations of the porcelain from the factory where they were made

The larger oil bottle stands about 11 3/8"
Is about 8" around the widest part
And about 1 7/8" diameter on the bottom

The smaller vinegar bottle stands a little less than 8 1/2" high
About 6 7/8" around the widest

All items come from my clean smoke free home
We do have pets

Please note: Although I check my things over and over, my vintage/pre-owned items do have a history and may have small flaws or signs of age that I have missed
